This tape was freely inspired by two videos: The Sea of Men (Clémence Hébert, 2012) and Autodafé, 1949 (Guy Marc Hinant, 2012). One side collects sounds recorded in 2010/2011 by Clémence Hébert and Xavier García Bardón during a few days spent on a fishing boat operating in the Anglo-Norman channel. The other side rearranges recordings made by Guy Marc Hinant in Birobidzhan, Jewish Autonomous Oblast, Russia in 2011. Both sides are variations on the original video soundtracks, incorporating a few additional sources to the mix. Assembled by Xavier García Bardón. Released on the occasion of the exhibition by Clémence Hébert and Guy Marc Hinant at Beauhaus, Brussels, April 2012.
